A fire mobilized around a hundred firefighters in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville neighborhood of Montreal on Sunday afternoon and forced the evacuation of about thirty tenants.
The fire broke out in the early afternoon, around 1:00 p.m., in an apartment building on rue Sauvé Est, near avenue Sacré-Cœur.

About a hundred firefighters went to the scene to fight the fire and the Red Cross evacuated about thirty people, the Montreal Fire Rescue Service (SIM) said.
No one was injured and one firefighter had to be evacuated due to heatstroke.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
